Our sixth annual SGForum event is getting closer with each passing week! Be sure to join us on Friday, June 21 at Hill City Church for a day full of empowerment for young professionals in the Springfield region. We have a great day of programming with opportunities for attendees to:
- Kick off the day with a networking lunch and opening session from Emily Denniston, Director of Community Engagement & Operations for the MSU efactory and SBJ’s 40 Under 40 Honoree in 2022.
- Discover how to approach conflicts in life as Ashley Norgard, Legal Counsel for O’Reilly Auto Parts will highlight conflict management strategies.
- Engage and interact with other YP’s through an interactive activity led by Aaron Solari with TrustPoint-Sandler.
- Hear all about Lake Springfield and the area development from Steve J. Prange, P.E. Senior Vice President and Director of Strategy and Business Development for Crawford, Murphy & Tilly.
- Get informed and inspired by a conversation with: Katie Towns, Elizabeth Wente, Caleb Scott, and Ryan Savage as they share their insights from their own experiences on Mental Health in the workplace.
- Wrap up the day with keynote speaker Devon Harris, a founding member of the first Jamaican bobsled team which competed in the 1988 Olympic Games in Calgary, Canada. The team’s exploits inspired the Disney movie Cool Runnings.
